My parents bought me this same model new in 1999 for about 1100. I attended a performing arts high school and played in multiple semi professional orchestras as well as quartets for hire. I was even accepted into th North Carolina School of Art playing
it. I still own it and the tonalization has only matured. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
