GI Strut Channel is a structural steel used in building traffic. This type of cold-formed profile steel is available in a variety of sizes and shapes. In general, a strut channel should be at least 1 5/8 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches tall. Deeper channels
are available to meet the needs of more complex applications. A GI stit channel should not be placed directly against a wall.
The slotted GI strut channel is available in several grades and standards. For instance, you can find a GI strut channel that is made of aluminum and has a galvanized finish. Similarly, a steel strut is made from steel and electrogalvanized to provide
corrosion resistance. Both types of metal struts are compatible with a wide variety of applications. They can be fabricated to fit any size and shape, and can be cut to any length for a custom installation.
