When I started to try to learn to play this damned thing about 4 years

I promised myself that if I stuck to it for 6 months or so, i would buy somehting better. Well, after 2.5 years, I bought a Larrivee Cs-09 at
Guitar Center and brought it home to find out that my wife had decided
to stay home with the kids and quit her job. (BTW, it was a great
decision, and I have 2 great kids as a result!) But the beautiful new
guitar was now a luxury I could not in good concience afford. Back to
GC per the 30 day return policy.

1.5 years later, adn last night, I finally bought my Larrivee L-05E.
VERY sweet. (Being at work sucks today, so since I can't play it, i
thought I would at least brag about it)

I have been hanging out in this group for the last 4 years, salivating
over your guitar stories, and now, i have one of my own. Can;t wait to experience the breaking in of the Solid top, Love the smell of the
thing, can't wait to get home to play......ahhhh.....

So, thanks for all of the education and entertainment you have given me
over the years. Now maybe I won't be embarrassdd to attend a
"Gathering", (although my playing leaves me plenty to still be
    embarrassed about!).

Finally, a question, I did not want the "Pre-amp" on the side of this
thing, but the price made it necessary for me to overlook this ($1000
for an L-05E, new). Now it has the B-band A6, which larrivee says is
special to them, and I like the sound of the approach (dual source,
"under saddle", and "soundboard" pickups blended), but I do not ahve an
amp, and am not particularly interested in plugging in soon, but i
wonder if the group has any experience, or opinions on this particular
    set up?

    RMMGA Rocks!!

Hey, odd thing -- a few minutes ago someone congratulated me on my new Larivee, and said "Congrat's , those sound great plugged in"

Not sure if he meant they do NOT sound good NOT plugged in....hmmm I
think I take offense....I mean I did not buy an OVation here!!!!! ;)

So checking back in. Still playing . Got some time given these days of Covid, so will be following this forum again fora while. Got a nice big MS Word file of Songs, and a family of guitars for specific purposes.
But I enjoy just really strumming my songs, with just a few intros and fills to make it a bit interesting (at least to me). I have worked up what I think is a really nice tab book in MS word (i.e Pictures, charts/lyrics) though the years of too much
hotel time, consolidated from multiple websites, books and purchased sheet music. I play while working from home on conference calls (on mute ).

As maybe some of you, i spend too much on guitars given my very limited skills ;)
Pic of my regular guitars here.

A Taylor 210E (added a cool pick guard with a palm tree
A KLOS carbon Fiber for travel and Couch time
A Traveler Escape for travel and quiet practice (hotels, nights)
