Pretty low traffic here.
I'll start lurking and see how it goes.
BTW, I'm a beginner, live in Spain and have been following the Woodshed programme:
https://www.classicalguitarshed.com/ws-home/
Anyone else hereabouts following it?

Like most of usenet, this group is a shell of its former self (one exception on usenet is
the rec.music.classical.recordings, which is smaller than it was, but still has a fairly
large participation on a daily basis). A very few folks have migrated over to the CGML
group on FB, although that is mostly descended from the old "eskimo" or yahoo groups.
There are however lots of the old folks on FB, and many of them have connected--including
many of the well-known players.

I'm a usenet dinosaur.
Most groups have pretty much gone now. The only group that I'm
subscribed to that remains quite active is alt.usage.english.

I just mentioned this group to them. Let's see if hourdes of ageing
guitar learners start pouring into here :-)
I'm not holding my breath.

I go back a few years as well, and I check in regularly although
contribute little. Still, if an interesting topic or question came up
that I felt I had some experience with I would def. join in.
Here are some topics I feel I could contribute to easily:
- Causing ugly damage to a brand new guitar just minutes after receiving it.
- Spending pant-loads of money on guitars and.....well that's it right
there am I right!?!?
- Anything Charo related!
Welcome!
Gary
