MusicDish*China released the premiere of Sydney-based singer/producer Rainbow Chan's single and music video "Nest" in mainland China through its Kanjian and Tencent Video channels. Since the start of the year, MusicDish*China has released albums in China
for Canadian-Portuguese rock band Menage and California-based DJ Sun Junkie as well as releasing the China premiere of DJ Kalkutta's remix of Janet Jackson's track "Sleep."

"Nest" is a love song with an enchanting hybrid of Japanese electronic production and RnB hooks. Her voice, light yet lofty and reminiscing. The minimalist style and captivating atmosphere of the video sets off an ungraspable interpretation to the
message beneath. She dresses in a piece of seamless dark blue fabric while staring aimlessly off into the distance, while the camera films close up shots of her features. Shortly, Chan is then depicted dressing in all black with flat TV screens in the
background, of which creates a jarring contrast between the vibrant background and music. A vivid illusion, a delightful oddness.

Since taking out FBi Radio's Northern Lights Competition in 2011, Rainbow has received continuous critical acclaim. Her 2013 released Long Vacation EP, drewattention from Yeah Yeah Yeah's Nick Zinner - and her live performances have flown her to
festivals like Iceland Airwaves, Dark Mofo and her hometown for Vivid Festival.
