This Wednesday, June 20, 9--11 p.m., at Folk Night at The Ship
Pub in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the headliner is Jordan
Harnum. There is also an open mic set between
the two headline sets and open mic performers get a free beer.
Cover is only $5 and there are three door prizes.
Also the kitchen is open until 8 p.m.
Here is the blurb from the Facebook event page, which is
https://www.facebook.com/events/2121682224772587/
"Jordan Harnum is a true son of Newfoundland. Born and raised in New Harbour, he learned the power and tradition of song and story from a young age. Jordan has always felt a deep spiritual connection with the act of performing on
stage or on screen.
Jordan’s debut record “The Boys Around The Bay” was produced and written-in-part by Glenn Simmons (The Fables) (Wonderful Grand Band) and released in the fall of 2017. Since then, Jordan and his All-Star Band have been showcasing the album and their talents throughout his home in Newfoundland.

Then after the show I plan to go around the corner to hear the last
set of Sherry Ryan at The Black Sheep Pub.
Next week (June 27) at Folk Night there is the monthly
traditional jam session hosted this month by Stacey Seward,
who plays uillean pipes and whistles.
