This Wednesday, July 19, from 9--11:30 p.m., at Folk Night at
The Ship Pub in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the headliners
are guitarist and vocalist Jean Hewson and fiddler and cellist
Christina Smith. Cover is $5, there is an open mic set between
the two headline sets, open mic performers get a free beer,
and there are door prizes donated by sponsors. Also the
kitchen is open until 8 p.m.
Next week, July 26, there is the regular last Wednesday of
the month unamplified round table traditional jam session.
