Happy St. Patrick's Day from St. John's, Newfoundland.
Probably in the evening I will be having my celebratory
beer at home, since several people over 65 are in my
immediate circle, even though only one COVID-19
case has been reported in the province so far.
But if anyone is going out, there will be a good show
at The Black Sheep on George (former Fat Cat) from
7 to 10 p.m. featuring Colleen Power, Sherry Ryan,
Jason Whelan, and perhaps Darren Browne if he is
back from his cancelled Burning Hell tour. Cover
is $15. If that is too steep for you, Erin's Pub
has a good show on for $5.
Happy St. Patrick's Day, and note that while the shamrock
leaves have threefold symmetry (which could symbolize
the Christian trinity or various triple goddesses
including Gaia, Luna, and Sola), the shamrock flower
(like the potato flower and the rose and the apple) has
fivefold symmetry, like the Wiccan pentagram and pentacle.
For any who might be interested, which I deem more likely
if you notice effects (e.g. improved sexual compatibility
within a committed relationship), I will report on my latest
attempt to magickally instigate a global new age on the thread
"Paddy's Day through equinox to Raven new/dark moon"
on alt.religion.druid .
