  • A Space Shanty!

    This is one of our few filks of another song. And the only one we have recorded.

    Lizzie handed me a lyric a couple of days ago, and then she locked herself in our little home studio for an hour or so, and this is what came out.

    Sounded good
    My "new" car plays SD cards so I copied my Music folder to a card.. Man is that a "MIX"

    Shahrazad
    Several tracks from To Touch the stars
    Several pieces of Church Choir music
    One of us (IF God Was One of us)
    and more.
    That's one wild mix.

    About that recording:

    I have a couple of recording of the original. They're by full-time
    professional musicians with (I assume) full-time professional sound
    engineers. They're unlistenable because either the verse is too quiet
    to hear, or your ears are blasted when everyone joins in on the
    chorus.

    Yours was wonderful to listen to. The verses were clear, and, because
    the choruses weren't overly-loud, I could hear your beautiful
    harmonies.
