• "With His Head Tucked Underneath Her Arm"?

From Joel Polowin@21:1/5 to All on Mon Mar 15 17:30:27 2021
Has anyone done a filk of "With Her Head Tucked Underneath Her Arm"
about Cordelia Vorkosigan's momentous "shopping trip"? Perhaps with
"in her shopping bag" instead of "underneath her arm".

And of course there's the Monty Python opportunity:

    "Been shopping?"

    "No... I've been shopping."

    "What'd you buy?"

    "Pretender's head."

    "What'd he buy it for?"

    "Annoying me at a party."

    Not that I've encountered.
    I'd love to see it.
    Or sing it.

Maybe you could cross refer to Kipling

    A pretender's head - erased!
