    "Alla turca" normally means it has an unusual amount of percussion
    for punctuation.

    9/8 is a standard jig measure in classical music. I don't know which
    Turkish Rondo you've come across, but doesn't Brubeck in the notes
    credit the inspiration for his takeoff?
