Hello,
I am thinking of trying my hand at lutherie, and I am looking for recommendations for books related specifically to acoustic guitar construction. I'd like to be able to build both classic and steel-string instruments. At the moment I am considering one or more of the following: "Making Master Guitars" by Roy Courtnall, "Classic Guitar Construction" by Irving Sloane and "The Luthier's Handbook" by Roger Siminoff. Would any or all of these books be sufficient for me to learn the craft on my own? Are there any that I've missed that you consider indispensable? I apologize if these questions are common. I did a bit of googling but there are always new people with ideas to share!
Thanks in advance,
Hans
