This Wednesday, April 11, 9--11 p.m., at Folk Night at The Ship
Pub in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the headliners are Dave Mundy
and Callum Latta. There is also an open mic set between the two
headline sets and open mic performers get a free beer.
Cover is only $5 and there are three door prizes.
Also the kitchen is open until 8 p.m.

Here is the band description from the Facebook event page, which is https://www.facebook.com/events/1901123146626159/ :

Hey folks, if yer looking for something you don't get everyday, Dave is a
full on blues singer and deadly harmonica player. Callum is an exceptionally good blues guitarist and this is a very good, local blues event. Just sayin'....

For the love of blues and all things soulful, this duo has both lightning and thunder. The low rumbles of Dave’s harp and electric grace of Callum’s guitar create a dynamic event. Original songs that sound 100 years old, hold the same hope for change today as they did then. Their brand new album is
    “A Delta Dawn”.

Dave Mundy and Callum Latta are dynamic, soulful, original country delta
blues performers. This hard working duo has been performing all over St.
John's and Newfoundland in bars, restaurants and festivals for almost 2
years. Dave Mundy is a prolific songwriter from Athens, GA who brings a
heaping helping of Southern flavor to his harmonica and voice. Callum Latta
has lived in St. John's nearly all his 23 years and is now starting to make a big name for himself in the elite guitar community. These passionate artists deliver the goods, holding nothing back. They released a new album last year, titled `A Delta Dawn'. They were nominated for best Blues/ Jazz Performers by MusicNL in 2018.
