    I always considered him to be the most talented of the four. Certainly, the most versatile. He had a good post-Monkees career in Country-Rock and videos. I recall he was reluctant to join in on the Reunion tours, but seemed more agreeable in later

    In a very real way they were the US counterparts of the Beatles.
