Drinks on me until the card runs out.

I go in for knee surgery this Thursday, June 10. Minor
surgery...arthroscopic procedure...but it should clear up the nagging
knee pain and weakness. This entire riding season so far has been a bust
for me. Maybe 400 miles total. But lately my knee has been feeling about
90% better! (The doc told me that could happen. He also said it could
suddenly get bad again when the crap in the knee joint decides to move
around and get in the way.) Hence, I've decided to try taking a long
    ride, relatively speaking.

This Sunday I'm getting with 3 local guys and we're riding to Cassoday
Kansas. (Cassoday Kansas? A town with a population of 129? Where the
heck is that and why would you want to ride there?) Well, for many years
now, people have been showing up there on the first Sunday of every
month. The tradition started a long time ago when a handful of riders
would go there for breakfast. Pretty soon word got around and hundreds
of folks show up now, with vendors and food trucks galore. Ya get there
in the morning...wander around, eat and buy crap...then early afternoon
the place closes up and everyone goes home. It's a 2 hour+ ride from
home, so I should be able to handle that. <fingers crossed>

I've seen bikes there with tags from most of the surrounding states.
That goes to show you that bikers will ride most anywhere for just about
    any reason.

Heh! I just "got" your signature line. It's a good 'un.

Thanks for the support and the Ezra! It'll let me sleep good tonight.
