    Dammit! I won $250 bucks in the Kansas Super Cash lottery.

    Why am I cursing about winning $250 bucks, you ask? It's because I was
    one frickin' number away from winning the jackpot of $1,530,000.00! One frickin' number! My lovely wife bought $5 worth of tickets for me on my birthday last Saturday. (Hit the big 70.) Yesterday we checked 'em and I
    won $250. That isn't anything to sneeze at, but 1.5 million would have
    been better.

    Since I'm $250 richer now, drinks are on me until it's gone.

    Money comes and goes. I've been fortunately enough to experience a few
    times in my life when it seemed to come in hand over fist. I've also
    lived on baloney and tuna fish (and not much of it) so I could afford to
    pay my employees. Money is important for what you can do with it. Now
    go buy a new Harley with that $250 and continue to support all those
    families who mine all those materials and make all those parts.

    Congrats. A win is a win. Thanks for the drink.

    Congrats, I'll drink to that.

    I was on a ship out of Japan in '85 when they started the California
    lottery scratchers. My mom sent me 25 scratchers in a Christmas card, I scratched them off and won 9 bucks, sent them back to her and she never
    sent me the 9 bucks.
