Beer, as well as anything else with bubbles, sucks. The problem with
alcohol is that it tastes like alcohol. Do coffee or iced tea count?

sure coffee/tea and two aspirin would do the same effect.
i usually have those options packed for fellow riders.

Heineken tastes pretty good but gives me a headache.
I range across the board beer-wise all year long but tend towards 6.5% really hoppy bitter ales.
Arrogant Bastard (stone) and Wailing Wench (syracuse middle-ages brewery) are favorites but can't get 'em in 12 or 16oz bottles/cans.
A lot of the great lakes brewery ones are good, Victory Hop-Devil is a nice one too.
The local brewery in Cortland has some good ones too.

What a time to be alive!

GOOD person! A Costco bottle of ibuprofen might be better.

I remember when everybody posted to Usenet with their real,
deliverable e-mail address. Of all the sins committed by the
spammers, destroying the viability of the open Internet was the worst.

Great Lakes Dortmunder winter. Elliot Ness amber lager or Turntable Pils summer.

    Gotta support the hometown brews.

    Go fast. Take chances

neighbor brews something similar to the arrogant bastard
in soda syrup kegs. i did make some dark beer once but the
results were a bit heavy on the coffee flavor side.
might try that again but use the local brew on premise
place because they are all setup and my basement won't
    stink while the mash breathes...
