• OT? F-47s in Korea

    My Dad flew F-47s in Guam 1946-1948. I think they were called "Thunderbolts". When he flew in Korea 1951-1952 he flew F-51s, the "Mustang" in the 12th Fighter Bomber Squadron, "Foxy Few". I would assume the F-47s were retired?

    Do you realize you are responding to a conversation that ended over 17 years ago? At least one of the original participants has been dead for many years.
