PORTLAND (WGME) - A Maine woman is facing charges for allegedly stabbing someone repeatedly in Portland.
Police say on Saturday afternoon witnesses saw the suspect walk up to a
car near 195 Kennebec Street with a large knife and appeared to stab
someone inside multiple times.
The victim was taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect, 21-year-old Marwa Mohammad of Portland left the
area, but was later stopped in Westbrook.
She has been charged with aggravated assault and possession for having
cocaine base.
