Many years ago I took a caribou in Alaska west of King Salmon. I had assumed it was an Alaskan Barren Ground but since then a few people have questioned that designation based on antler shape. They indicate it looks a lot like a mountain caribou. Anyone
know if there is a line of demarcation (like brown/grizzly bear) relating to caribou?
