Haven't had a new posting here since January 2018. Any ideas?
I have no clue what is going on or how to fix it. I have the feeling that many newsnet programs are not able to send msgs to the list/group so they never show up in the moderator's inbox.

I got a new computer, and no matter what I try, can't get news.eternal-september.org to work with Thunderbird. So only time I see this is on TB 2 on an old desktop. So know myself I've given up on the newsgroups. Still look when I'm downstairs on the old box though.

Sadly, usenet in general is just about dead. There are a few groups I'm
in that are reasonably active (pretty much all either programming or
science fiction related), but pretty much all the activity on nearly all
the groups has moved to web forums or facebook.

Science fiction related, now that got my attention. Are they usenet groups??
I have found a couple of email lists which discuss s-f and related
genre but I don't remember finding any usenet groups when I did a
casual search years ago.
