Phillip J. Kronzer Knighted in Portugal

September 6, 2001 - Phillip J Kronzer was knighted in Fatima, Portugal
in a private ceremony held at the House of the Royal Brotherhood of
the Wing of Saint Michael, of which the Grand Master is HRH Dom Duarte
Pio, the Duke of Braganca and 36th titular King of Portugal.

The Brotherhood of Saint Michael is a Catholic Association in the form
of a Dynastic Order of the Royal House of Portugal and which has its
origins in the foundation of Portugal, thus being one of the oldest
and most prestigious Orders of Knights in the world.

The name of the Order derives from a miracle which tradition confirms occurred on May 8th, 1147 when the first King of Portugal, Dom
Alphonse Henriques, took the City of Santarem, near Lisbon, from the
Moors. At that time it was said that there occurred an eclipse of the
sun, and in it was seen the flaming wing of the Archangel Saint
Michael which the Portuguese kingdom had declared as their guardian
angel. The Order was created in 1165 and officially recognized by the
Church in 1171. It continued active until the XVIII Century and was
later restored by King Michael I as an Order to protect the Church and
    its doctrine.

Inactive for almost a century, the Order was redtored in the form of a
Royal Brotherhood by the current Duke of Braganca, direct decendant of
the first King of Portugal and great grandson of King Michael. The
current Duke is also godchild of Pope Pius XII and President of the Portuguese Province of the Knights of Malta.

Among the most recent knights invested in the Royal Brotherhood was
Phillip J. Kronzer whose work in promoting the Messages of Our Lady of
Fatima of 1917 and generous contributions to charity and promotion of
the Monarchy and defense of the Roman Catholic Faith prompted HRH the
Duke of Braganca and Sovereign Grand Master by birth of the Order of
Saint Michael to bestow this rare privilge.

Phillip James Kronzer, a former resident of California and now
residing in Fatima, is now a knight with the right to be called "Right Honourable Chevallier". .

The 24 room complex in Fatima where the Knights headquarters will be
located was purchased by Phillip James Kronzer who also recently was
awarded a commandership in the Order of Civic Merit by the Government
of Brazil for his work with charities and foreign exchange student programmes. Likewise Kronzer collaborator Richard Salbato was also
awarded recently the Commander's Cross of the Brazillian Order of
Saint Maurice for simmilar charitible works involving the Brazillian government and their recent celebration of Brazil's 500th anniversary
of its Christianization. Salbato is also a knight of the Brotherhood
of the Wing of Saint Michael.

Pending approval of his HRH Dom Duarte Pio, the Duke of Braganca,
Phillip Kronzer plans to expand the Brotherhood's activities
    throughout North America.

Their is a man named Elvin Reed Hancock that has on his LinkedIn account that he was vested into the Royal Order of St Michael of the Wing. By the Recognition of the royal family of Portugal, the house of Braganza. Would anyone know if this is true. or
how I could look into this statement.
