• Beretta Silver Snipe action disassembly

    Joe,

    It's been about 2 years, so I'm guessing you got it sorted. If not, let me know. I have a silver snipe and have worked on the trigger assembly. If I had to guess, the cocking lever spring didn't get back in place when they put the trigger assembly pin in and it is doing as you suspect. But that's just a guess.

    Yes, I did -- and your guess is exactly right! I was able to get a
    replacement spring from Bob's Gun Shop
    (http://www.gun-parts.com/beretta/) and the gun is back in service.

    And there's a "gunsmith" in town here who will never see any of my guns
    ever again...
