We have to mobilize and ensure that doesn't happen. Otherwise you might
as well start buying Kiwi shirts.
The NRA is decadent and divided (whether literal or figurative, it
matterth not, they are effectively powerless). The other organizations
are not well known and have little effective (national) persuasive force.
Logic and reason are characteristics that the liberal mind does not
possess, attempting to engage in a solutions-based dialog is pointless,
they operate almost exclusively on emotion.
The only thing that I can think of is that we gun-owners prepare
ourselves accordingly (read: training) and respond to acts of violence appropriately and authoritatively, and we make it known:
"I'm a gun owner and I stopped an act of violence!"
We need to eliminate violence from society, not guns.
We need to act.
