Lol, Im a few years late on this topic but imbel did make receivers for l1a1 sporter rifles. Some were cut for metric mags and some were cut for l1a1 charging
handles, l1a1 top cover tabs, and l1a1 mags. I believe it depended on which importer and contract they were made for. But none of them had the l1a1 lightening
cuts. But that doesnt help or hurt the function of the receiver.
