    I used to lay some 2"x4" metal "fencing" over the bed in the spring,
    along with some rebar or fence poles vertically near the 4 corners that
    I could use to lift up the fencing and tie it in place as the daisies
    grew. That would support it so it would not collapse from it's own weight.

    I keep thinking - too late - that I should do the same with my crocosmia Lucifer. I did some searching, and found that this one needs to be
    thinned every year or 2 to avoid this problem. I wonder if serious
    thinning would do the same for daisies.
