• Why do my hibiscus buds fall off?

From laslaslas14@gmail.com@21:1/5 to All on Fri Feb 10 07:02:53 2023
For some months my hibiscus plant (indoors) grew lots of buds but very few flowers. I finally figured out what was going on. The buds were falling off before they bloomed. I found several stems with no buds, and found the bud I'd been watching for a
    while in the dirt.
Does anyone know what's happening? And what I can do about it?

Thrips– This is a very tiny insect that is often found in gardens. They are known for feeding on the buds of a hibiscus plant, which can cause the plant to do poorly. When the buds are attacked, the flowers can fall off of the plant before the blooms
    even open.
