• Plant ID please.

    I bought this house plant in a supermarket and wondered if anyone could
    tell me what it is and also how to propergate it. :)

    The picture you attached to your original message in gardenbanter is not
    shown in this newsgroup.

    However, the plant appears to be Tradescantia spathacea 'Sitara'. It is
    easily propagated by cutting about 8cm off one stem, removing a few
    leaves from the cut end, and putting that end in some damp compost in a
    pot. Keep the pot in a well-lit window, but with no direct sun.
