    At bare minimum, he should ask her if it's okay with her that he does that. He's causing the problem by not respecting his neighbor's polite request. It DOES NOT matter if he or anybody else thinks it's petty, it's her home and her right to protect it

    Wow, I realize this is old, but communities with a LOT of snow spececifically pass ordinaces against just such unneighborly actions. It's kind of like keeping your dog poop on your own yard -- because no one else wants it.

    Michelle, Actually what he is doing is ILLEGAL. By throwing his cig butts in your yard is trespassing, harassment and littering. Also with the snow blowing its trespassing and harassment. It is illegal to displace water into someone's else's yard, which
    snow is frozen water. It can cause more water to go into your basement, possible flooding. Causes snow rot on your grass.You need to call your local Police department. You can go to Police ahead of time and have pictures and file a report and when it
    happens again call the Police, that's their job.
    Don't listen to the haters it only bc they are just as big of assholes as your neighbor.I feel for you.
