TECH. Stern frenzy won't take credits anymore

Hi All,
I have a Frenzy machine that after sitting for months in my game room (worked fine before) won't start a game (has 99 credits). Now, the next day (no battery installed), it won't even give credits when coin switch is activated. game over/ attract screen
as normal, boots up ok (proper number of beeps). even tried the reset sw. on the ZPU, but still no credit activation. Also, how to I get the drawer back on the ball bearing slide rails?, it is partially off and won't slide out very far as the drawer
raises up and jams against the cabinet. Thank you, Rick
