• Pokey Chip Centipede Problem

From 3pinballs@21:1/5 to All on Fri Dec 6 09:00:08 2019
Having an intermittent issue with the Mushrooms being dropped straight down the left side during game play and sound sometimes disappearing.

Here's Video I posted...You'll see the P1 flash briefly during Test Mode

    https://youtu.be/pw54RU9jYf8

After reading I found out from I believe Rec Games Pinball that it's an issue with the Pokey Chips. Now there's a guy that is remaking the Pokey chips called Pokey One chip for all Atari Games as NOS parts are hard to find, plus no guarantee that they
    will work being old.

My question is do I replace both chips or just the 1? It Shows in video P1 and a quick PO chip flashes on the screen. So any input would be great whether to replace one or both of them.

Also, I did try to reseat the chips to no success

    Thx, Tony

Try exchanging the Pokies on your board to see what happens. Then you
may be able to figure out if you need one or two replacements...

    Hey John.

Had my tech over, he put in a new pokey chip for P0 and everything working fine.

    Thx, Tony
