    hello,

I was wondering how many (unfortunately, Google-only) users participate in flagging the recent spaham flood.

One way of doing this is via de groups.google.com web page.

I've uploaded a rather trivial video on how to do this: see https://youtu.be/oXFBI41iqws

Nice, will have to see about doing that. Not sure why they picked rec.games.go...

Instead of marking individual messages as spam inside a thread, you can also select multiple conversations (entire threads) and mark all of them as spam.
Some spam threads contain over 60 messages and it would be a lot of work to mark these individual messages as spam.

Thanks - I never noticed that there was a checkbox hidden under those avatars!

But it looks like this only works for topics, not for individual replies inside a topic - but I might be mistaken.

    I'd suggest a client like http://pan.rebelbase.com
you can block senders and words.

you might want to seriously think about a client because google groups is removing/banning old groups, ie
