late report.
Coming up: Wolfpack Common Summer Fever! Watch this space for the announcement.
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Sat Jul 4 17:39:03 2015
Only 2 nations left
Get them while you still can!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Sun Jul 5 18:37:19 2015
And here are the headlines:
Tight beginning to the race but the top news is the
scandal unfolding at 6!
Max grabs the yellow jersey by being max efficient!
Cochise running close behind with the max output!
tabute not far behind Cochise, because, well, tabute!
4 at number 4 is pretty much par for the course!
6 is the reigning metal head, despite mass speculation
of a "deflategate" accounting for the disappearance
of their dust!
Five is rocking hard and rounds up today's power chart!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Tue Jul 7 03:22:15 2015
Tabute leapfrogs Cochise into first!
Cochise still hanging close, grabs the first ship...go Cochise!!
Max drops to third with the swap.
4, 6, Five maintain their positions with 6 taking care
of it's deflategate issue and building a fleet that's twice as
big as everyone else! Go 6 Go!
Meanwhile, Five dipped his toes into the sea and felt the water
was too cold at this time and will not be sailing out as yet.
Ugly meanwhile is outraged that everyone started and didn't
bother to invite him!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Wed Jul 8 02:22:51 2015
Cochise sailors: First to build a ship and first to find land!
It'll be an uphill battle for Ugly, starting two updates late...let's see
how he copes!
Tabute keeping the yellow jersey, for now.
max keen on grabbing it back, notches a position closer and builds a larger fleet.
Cochise and 4 swap places with not much to differentiate between the two. Wonder what Five will do with all that iron?
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Thu Jul 9 06:42:11 2015
Meant to send this out before the update...oops!
Boing! Boing!!
4 jumps into pole position (and takes the yellow jersey from tabute)!
From out of nowhere, 6 leapfrogs the rest of the pack to second position! Cochise, watching the jumps, makes a small jump and stays close to the digits. tabute and max dribble down...still it's neck-and-neck!
Making up for lost time, tabute builds the largest fleet.
Mad max and Cochise...declares war on the world!
Five still feels the waters are too cold.
In the distance, there's an Ugly ship on the horizon!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Fri Jul 10 02:51:21 2015
As we come to the end of the 1st week:
How long will 4 be able to hold on to the top slot ?
Colonization moving to the next gear!
Even Five has ventured out and started colonization!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Sat Jul 11 02:51:21 2015
And as the 2nd week starts, we finally see some action.
Cochise and Ugly swap sectors.
LateStart ensures we get a packed house.
It's gonna be an interesting week!
Stay tuned!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Sun Jul 12 03:37:11 2015
4 slips....6 takes over!
Military growing. Who will flex their muscle first?
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Mon Jul 13 05:38:15 2015
It's a double strike from tabute!
Who will fall first, 4, 6 or tabute?
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Tue Jul 14 05:31:41 2015
Cochise leads again, this time in guns & shells!
Everyone else will scramble now!
4 strikes back at tabute and take a few sectors...doesn't look
like this will end quietly or soon, for that matter.
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Wed Jul 15 01:57:57 2015
Just because he started a few updates late, doesn't mean he's a pushover! LateStart blazes into action and attacks 4!
4 continues to dent tabute!
6 and Ugly taken offense to Cochise ships in their waters!
As predicted everyone scrambling to make guns/shells!
Meanwhile, 4 is slowly building a sizeable fleet. Hope they're not
all fishing boats!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Thu Jul 16 02:05:42 2015
Talk about having a deathwish!
4 is nuts! He's engaging half the countries out there!
On the flip side, he has been sitting on top of the power charts with
max sectors, max ships and min money
Meanwhile, 6 and Cochise hold steady
Max decides enough is enough and is ready to bury 4 and LateStart
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Fri Jul 17 02:26:45 2015
max is Mr. Popular!
Everyone wants to go to the max, even Five!
The age of colonization is over!
Now we'll see which of the boyz are men!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Sat Jul 18 05:03:46 2015
Enough is enough!
The great tabute awakes and is fighting back.
Could there be a twist in the tale?
Five with 40K in the bank and hardly any guns/shells
is looking like a plumb target. Dinner, anyone?
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Sat Jul 18 18:38:03 2015
3rd week begins:
Despite a brief hiccup at the beginning of the week, 4 retains the yellow jersey. Triumphing in the clashes with tabute and max, has brought 4
closer to 200 sectors. Currently 4 has the largest fleet.
Cochise slides into second and is gearing up. Most likely he will continue being the pioneer, with building the first plane.
6 was on top for almost half the week and till recently had the largest
army, but now slips to third.
max following closely at fourth has had some of his sectors grabbed by 4
and LateStart.
Ugly rapidly approaching 100% eff comes next, Ugly has had a fairly quiet
game so far.
During the week tabute had climbed to over a 100 sectors, but seems to have borne the brunt of the dispute with 4, and now at half of those sectors,
trails at number six.
Five continues to have the biggest warchest alongwith the smallest fleet,
is at number seven.
Rounding up this week's power chart is LateStart. Starting a week late, LateStart has held his own and even grow by nibbling away at 4 and max.
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Mon Jul 20 02:01:22 2015
With tabute down to single digits in guns/shells/ships, seems it's game
over for him.
4 commanding the largest fleet is looking comfortable at the top.
Cochise is still finding land out there!
max and LateStart getting it on!
Announcement from visitor, (#9) dated Tue Jul 21 02:07:19 2015
1st sacking of the game!
4 sacks tabute! Fleet size crosses 100 ships! Is in the drivers seat now!
max builds the first plane!
No Christmas gifts will be exchanged this year between 4, Cochise, max & LateStart.
6 circling like a vulture, to pick up the spoils?
Announcement from 7, (#7) dated Thu Jul 23 18:22:24 2015

Max/7: assimilated
Cochise/Free-Beer: assimilated
Ugly also already declare me the winner.
Anyone up for challenging my victory?
Announcement from LateStart, (#2) dated Fri Aug 7 13:03:12 2015
4 is the winner....I sure wish all players would
finish games and actually participate in the fighting more.
Announcement from Sleeping, (#4) dated Fri Aug 7 16:17:45 2015
Yup..agree with you there LateStart.
I thought max and Cochise would put up more of a fight
than throw in the towel, like they did.
max and Cochise I think played a waiting game,
waiting for the others to attack.
tabute did attack me in the beginning and I think
if he had been more actively participating in the game
perhaps I would be at the bottom of the table, instead of
him.
Perhaps, if max had attacked me while I was busy with
tabute, it would have been interesting.
Mucho kudos to LateStart, despite starting a week late, he
didn't throw in the towel like max or Cochise, but
instead went on the offensive against max and 6/nexus
to end up in second place, and deservedly so!!!
POGO: It was great to have a full house in the game
this time around. I expected more action that I actually got.
Perhaps for the 2-month game, it would make more sense to have
a larger world size. While the smaller world size ensures you
start squabbling and fighting sooner, it also leads to a
faster finish. Maybe with a larger world each country would
have more resources and more difficult to over run.
