  • empire servers

    Anyone hosting empire games? It seems
    like blitz.empire.cx does not run games
    anymore.

    I have been working on an empire
    client in python as a way to learn
    the game.

    I would host games but I do
    not have a static ip address.
    This may change in the future.

    I have been running a Empire server for quite a few years. You can get more info at https://EmpireDirectory.net - if you can't find the info there just let me know at fstltna@yahoo.com and we can work togather! Would love to get Empire more attention ;)

    It appears that at least 3 games are
    being run at blitz.wolfpackempire.com.
    The port numbers are the same
    as those listed at blitz.empire.cx
    under the games section.

    I've been popping in and playing the blitzes now and then. Sadly there aren't many players these days.

    Working on promoting it more, again. My games are more long-term not blitzes so maybe eventually it will help out...

    I sometimes check the wolfpack blitzes to see if anyone is active, but so far I've never seen anyone else.

    I run a game at https://EmpireDirectory.net. You can also use ssh/putty to play my game using a secure protocol. Just use user "empire" and password "empire" in a ssh connection and you can get in...
