    But what will it be?

And where are Squats and Orks?

Is my 2nd edition codex still valid?

    Clean up edition

Wherever you want them to be,

It's as valid as you make it.

    resisatnace is fuedal.

The most any store will have is 402. That's what a local stockist, not me, was told. so he ordered 402. I my 21. They are 3 to a case, so pretty beefy. no actual beef.

just don't call it 9th edition.

I'm impressed they're so incompetent they didn't produce enough copies of a new starter set for their flagship game, and have to produce them to match orders. It's like the current leadership really is 100% out of touch with recognizing that they make
bloody games and toy soldiers to play those games with. I mean, yeah, they admitted they were most of the way there, but this is just throwing in the towel and admitting they don't care about games anymore, they just want to make overpriced shelf pieces
that are too fragile to transport to games.

I was really considering getting back into 40k or Kill Team but seems GW is still GW and maybe even worse. And I'm balking. I was really more interested in Kill Team though. Not sure still. Ugh ugh ugh.

but out of curiosity, what is the "even worse" you are referring to?

I've got 3 spares! Kill team is fun. GW is bettter than GW of the past. They find new mistakes to make now.

They said they made more indomidus than they did Dark Imperium, which was never sold. Out. I know I still have 3 Dark Imperium left out of 40.
They underestimated how much people love a bargain. at 200USD. theres 200 bucks just in characters in the box.

It actually works out well for stcokits in a way in that the discounters are not around and the price isn't super high. But then they get another release for the Holidays. It is the perfect stocking suffer.

You can jsut get the kill team book for 40 and use whatever models you have laying around.
combat patrol is 250 points a side and played on a kill team board. the smaller table sizes are ofset a bit by higher point values for things. They idea being you can have more granularity, which should allow for more flexibilit in adjusting point values.
If you are 3 points then theres not much further that one can go. If you are 10 points then 1 or 2 points up or down is possible.
Crusade is the new narrative modes and works a bit like an escaltion league.

I know GW stores in the ATL had several copies left on opening Sunday still.

All my stuff is in my Garage. It really is Joes Garage now!

I prefer the smaller size games anyway. Which is why Kill Team is appealing than the small size 40k with the new version.

Starting to get to many games... maybe.

Clearly you need to use a 2nd editon paint style, complete with goblin green bases rims.

Yeah kill team is about 100 points and Combbat patrol is one "start collecting" box ~500pts

It will be interesting to see what they do with kill team to update to 9th ed. I don't think they need to as it has it's own rule set. and new40K just plays on multiples of kill team boards.
