• Anyone play Ultima IV on the C64?

I played it that way. What do you mean by "fast"? They were completely independent of the player's turns, I remember that, as I would frequently sit and wait for the moongate to open without passing. If you mean how many seconds per phase, I can't tell
you precisely- I do still have a C128 but I don't have a working disk drive. My vague recollection would be about 3-4 seconds per phase change of the faster moon.

Time-unit-per-phase is what I was getting at. Three to four seconds
seems a fair bit faster than the last time I had it going in dosbox, but
the system clock in that situation is entirely arbitrary. I do remember
having some annoyingly long wait times depending on where I was headed.

    Thanks!

Bit of an oddball question here, but is there anyone still around that
played U4 on the C64? Not via an emulator mind you, but on the actual
hardware? It was a bit before my time.

I'm trying to find out how 'fast' the moons were intended to cycle
through their phases. Since the C64 release seems to have been the
benchmark release for that game, I'm going with that platform. A few
minutes spent with google hasn't turned up much.

I'll load it up in dosbox if I have to, but that introduces all manner
    of timing errors.
