  • Stars! needs old hardware to run on

    It requires a x86 processor and a hard-drive (not a flash drive).
    AMD x86_64 will work, and any old hard-drive.

    Stars will run on any Windows based computer by installing DosBox, installing Win 3.1 in DosBox, and installing Stars in Win 3.11. Once installed Stars can be run in a window or full screen with no loss of display quality.

    Stars can also be run from a flash drive if you use the portable version of DosBox. It is available at https://portableapps.com
