• Components of Control Room

The rules for Control Room are not very good and I would hope to improve
them. How much of its mass is the control stations, computers, attitude thrusters, gyros, "free systems", etc? What I have figured out so far is:

    * Comms/sensors are 10% of the Control Room system's mass, because its capabilities match that of a Enhanced Comm/Sensors of a spaceship which
    is two sizes smaller.

    * Mass of one control station must be at least five sixths of a short ton, since that is the mass of one seat of Passenger Seating. Probably it will
be more than that, but I do not know how much more.

Other than that, I do not know. The number of control stations does not
scale linearly with mass, and removing control stations does not free any
mass (it only reduces cost). Should it free any mass?

I would also think that a ground vehicle (if using the expansions from
Pyramid and other books) should need less sophisticated comms/sensors than
a spaceship needs; it does not need all of its capabilities, nor does it
need sensors in all directions, necessarily.

Ground vehicles and water surface vehicles also will not need 3D attitude thrusters/gyros, and drivetrains (Wheeled, Tracked, Flexibody, legs, etc)
might be able to make it to move, so I am not sure how much less
sophisticated they will be for ground/water vehicles, and how much mass
    is freed.

Low-tech designs also might use less of these components (as well as less
of some of the "free systems" of a spaceship).

So, rules for a modular Control system would be helpful, if we can figure
out how to make it up, so that designs can omit some components if they
are not used and use the freed up mass to install other systems (e.g. if
50% of the Control system's mass is unused then you can install one half
    system in that freed mass).

And then is consideration, how does this affect Hnd/SR of ground vehicles
    (if it does at all)?
