    Hi all,

    While playing my latest game on hardfought.org, I dropped through a hole in minetown a couple of levels down.

    On the way back up, I mapped out a whole level but couldn't find the upstairs for love nor money. In desperation, I headed to the downstairs and accidentally typed <, resulting in me going up?

    I think both the up and down stairs were generated on the same tile, showing as > and not being picked up when searching for <. I didn't think this was possible, so reporting as a bug.

    Version is Unix NetHack Version 3.7.0-53
