Just finished a three weeks delayed game of a neutral gnomish healer.
Being neutral the Planes were a pain, as so often. The endgame log
lists (besides the standard A) a solar, a planetar, and two archons.
Again prepared myself with a c-corpse before entering Plane of Air,
a wish from a magic lamp's djinn. Zapped wands of death at all the
air elementals to not need switching the c-corpse weapon. That seems
to have become my standard tactics, it works quite well. My second
magic lamp gave me another corpse for the Astral Plane. Stoned all
the priests and angels and zapped Famine with death - missed a few
times, even when he got adjacent. But finally I hit and continued my
way to the first altar which was already the right one. No minions
during the late game this time. My only companion was that guardian
angel from Astral.
