    DONT AGREE.
    NES is graphically and accoustically
    superior, memory structure superior.
No by it’s smart and successful marketing.
NES games don’t suck. Crappy graphics, terrible sound.Remember

But there were a lot more games for the NES, and among those were most very fun games. I have over 120 games I really enjoy on the NES, which is more than the total library of the 7800, and more than the SMS total library.

No, the NES had is place, and I still enjoy many of its games.
Your post is crap, which is why you wanted it not archived.

The NES did NOT suck and it was NOT old.
The hardware was NOT 2 1/2 years old in late '85 The base NES was powerful compared to the Master System, everyone knows this. The Famicom/NES being immensely popular was not why the developers supported it, developers supported it because they knew it
was better. Dude most of the NES games and there were only a fast few shit games in between.

People enjoy MOST of the better games.
    Nes wasn’t obsolete
Also back in the day, Many had an NES and could care less about the Master System with the SegaScope 3D glasses and Light Phaser. Most got the NES. And most prefered the NES over the Master System.

which I only played at a buddy's house. a few of the "better" kids had Nintendo and they were really proud of it. this one dude had a Nintendo
promotional flyer hanging in his locker. he wasn't a geek either but a "jock". most of the "cool kids" had NES and the geeks and shits had Master System. Cool kids on nes loved Double Dragon, Ninja Gaiden and Final Fantasy. when
SNES came out, most of the kids then went for the
SNES since it enjoyed a vast popularity over the Genesis
Nintendo thrashed Sega with better games, more of them, and devastating advertizing.

The Sega Master system was NOT better. The NES was better. Master system was shit Even the ATARI
7800 was inferior to the NES.

The NES' success can be explained by Nintendo's quality, NOT by it’s policy.

NES games do NOT suck they rock. Beautiful graphics, AMAZING sound.Remember the SID in the C64 was not present in the old Commodore 6xx machines, and it was after the NES. Heck, even ATARI's ancient POKEY is much inferior to the NES' soundchip.

And there were NO flickering sprites.

The NES was awesome. Master system and Atari was shit. Period.

Huh? 7800 acoustically superior? Does "sound chip at extra cost, only in two games" mean anything to you? The 7800 did worse in the sound
department than it did in the bus architecture department.
I base my judgement in Robotron for the 7800. NOT arcade perfect. Faggot, EVERYTHING on the NES sounded as good, Xevious was also better sounding on the NES, and the 7800's SID was NOT on the 400/800's SID and the sound range is inferior to the NES's.
Programmers in all games worked within the NES's confines better to make games sound as good as possible, and the
    sound was NOT stilted

    I had the C64 when I was a kid, 1986.
I had a SMS around the early 90's, and the C64 had a way better library of games and better ones IMO.
I ended up getting a NES in the mid 90's and while the Nintendo and good 3rd party games were good, the C64 still could be considered as a serious contender to it! IMO ;)
