    Advanced Squad Leader Auction

I have for sale a complete ASL system (up to about
1991). In general, it is in excellent shape. I will accept
bids from new bidders until February 28 inclusive. Following
that, previous bidders will be given a couple days to finalize
their bids. I will update once to rec.games.board sometime
next week. I expect most of the action to take place
by email, so send me a note if you wish to be included in the
bidding (either because you wish to watch, or because you
only want to bid after others start the bidding). Whole
dollar bids only. First chronological bidder wins a tie.
Buyer pays postage. I am not responsible for bids I do not
receive due to computer errors (your computer or mine) or
    goofed up email.

Due to overwhelming demand, I am splitting bidding up
into components. However, my counters are currently all
sorted by nationality and unit type, so I will encourage any
bid on the entire allotment by throwing a $40 incentive to
such a bid. Such a bid will win if it is within $40 of the
total of the individual bids. Also, as a disincentive to bid
on individual items, I will only promise to do my best to
sort the counters correctly, but I will not guarantee that
100% of the counters will be put with their proper module.
In particular, record-keeping counters are easy to put with
    the wrong module.

A list of current bids follows:

ASL Rulebook and Binder (battered) no bid
    Beyond Valor no bid
    Paratrooper $15 Jim Pitts
    Yanks $15 Jimmie M. Raines
    West of Alamein $30 DURANDO
Code of Bushido $22 J.D. Frazer
    Partisan no bid
    Last Hurrah $15 Jim Pitts
    Hollow Legions $16 Jim Pitts
    Streets of Fire no bid

    Red Barricades $15 Jim Pitts
    ASL Annual '89 $5 J.D. Frazer
    ASL Annual '90 no bid
    ASL Annual '91 no bid
GI Anvil of Victory $15 Jim Pitts
    Squad Leader no bid
Squad Leader (2nd copy) no bid
Extra Boards (remember, whole dollar bids):
    1 $3 Jim Pitts
    2 $3 Jim Pitts
    3 $3 Jim Pitts
    4 $3 Jim Pitts
    5 $3 Jim Pitts

    15 $4 Alec Habig
    24 (copy #1) $3 Jim Pitts
    24 (copy #2) no bid
    24 (copy #3) no bid

    also, some KGP playtester's stuff
proabaly of historical interest only, and
    some collated rules Q&A; they're
yours for postage, unless there are
    actually bids on this stuff.

Combined bid (everything) $140 Christopher Frame
    Total of individual bids: $194-$40=$154

I'll do my best to respond to any questions or inquiries, but
please be patient, as I may not get around to them for
several days due to my busy schedule.

If it's still available after 24 years, the price has probably dropped a
    bit.

It's ASL, the price has probably gone up quite a bit.
