• Some thoughts about online bridge play cheating.

I am simulating standing in bridge cheater shoes:

Do I cheat to win, place, or just the thrill of doing it?

What is the most effective way for me to cheat my way to winning? To place anywhere else I get rewarded? To merely annoy other players?

Do I settle for knowing only what is in partner’s hand before, or during, bidding to a final contract?

Or, do I settle knowing only partner’s, and opponent’s, hands before, or during, bidding to a final contract?

Or, do I settle for knowing either of the last two two conditions above, plus double dummy (DD) analysis of them?

Or, the same, plus DD, plus par contract analysis? (Complete deal hand information prior to, or during, bidding.)

Assume I have some level of this illicit information, and I choose to make use of that information:

Do I wait until I am on lead against an opponent’s contract to make my only use of my illicit information?
