• Microcomputer Chess Program

From tszolyga@pacbell.net@21:1/5 to All on Sat Jan 23 11:08:15 2021
I am looking for a reasonably good, small chess program (with source code) that runs on a microcomputer SBC. Does anyone have experience with or suggestions for such a program? I have Stockfish running on a Raspberry Pi 4, but this is the upper limit
of the size of program I am looking for. At the other end of the spectrum is Micro-Max running on an AtMEGA SBC.

My current "challenge" is to get Toledo Nanochess compiling and running on anything. This program is VERY hard to understand even with the "Toledo Nanochess Commented Source Code" book. It was optimized to reduce the source code character count, which
makes it unreadable. I would appreciate any help with this program.

    Best regards,
    Tom
