Can archived web content such as captures by
"Wayback Machine", etc. be evidence in court?
That question had never occurred to me until a
few days ago, during exchanging archived links
here with Tim.
Like with answers to any/all legal questions: "it
depends"...
You can do a web search on the subject if you
want to know more. Personally, I lost interest
after reading just a couple of legal opinions on
it, which apparently has been argued in courts
already for decades by now.
Law may be almost interesting or even exciting
for some but I see it like having sex in a bordello,
(I have never been a judge or an attorney, so I'm
just extrapolating from my own amateur, pro-se
legal masturbation); the ultimate prostitution of
the human mind and soul... :(
