• An incredibly stupid idea for a backgammon software proposal

From pepstein5@gmail.com@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jun 9 10:55:12 2023
Suppose there was a backgammon event with prize money.
It would be interesting (Errr... Who exactly would be interested??)
to have an algorithm that accepts the prize structure, the ratings
of all players, and the match lengths as inputs, and then outputs
the cash equity of each player.

Trying to actually sell the software would be about as hopeful
as selling salt water to someone living on a beach.

How about selling salt water to someone
    on a sinking ship..?

Your faith in Titanic being unskinkable is
admirable. She is taking on water and you
are still looking for dance partners in the
    ballroom... :)
