    It's a blitz. And things go better when you a. make points and b. excavate the front. So make the ace point. Play 20/15 with the last 5 since 13/8 strips the midpoint and stacks the 8.

    I like that variant! But bear in mind that it leaves a good 6 for X when playing to hit on the 5 point.
