    But "es gibt ein Trick dabei" is by no means Deutschglish in parallel with Franglais.
    "Trick" is a perfectly legitimate German word that just happens to have the same
    spelling (except for case) as the English equivalent.
    Just as it isn't Franglais to say "J'aimerais bien aller au cafe" even though the English
    word, "cafe" is the same.

    ou "faux pas," then tout le monde sait how to spell it. Mais le
    gender est tres difficile pour un boneheaded Anglais-speaker to
    remember.
