• Spy vs. spy

From Timothy Chow@21:1/5 to All on Mon Jan 30 09:46:25 2023
I mean prime vs. prime of course, but such a common subject line
risks confusing Google Groups. Any other fans of Mad Magazine here?

X naturally would like to make a six-prime. The pedestrian move here
is 13/11 13/10, but slotting the back of the prime obviously gives X
better chances of making the 9pt. Is it worth the risk? According to
the rollout below, the answer is a resounding yes. The decision would
be much closer if O's checkers on her 1pt were moved to her 3pt (see
    variant below).

The variant should have been putting the opp's checker from the 23pt to the 24pt unduplicating aces.
