    Like badgolferman, I played 13/10 13/9, aiming to make my 5pt. But
    XG insists on 24/21 13/9. The trouble with 13/10 13/9 is that many
    of his sixes and fives won't play well next turn---his lack of
    flexibility means he'll either have to break anchor or dump checkers
    deeper in his board than he would like. Stepping up with 24/21 gives
    him a much-needed spare. Of course the downside is that he gives O
    a direct shot at his midpoint blot, but X is anchored, and it's a
    common theme in priming games that maintaining your own prime and
    jumping over your opponent's prime often takes precedence over avoiding
    blots.
